The Lithuanian Royal Union of Nobility in Lithuania (LRUN-Lithuania) is our parent organization.
The Lithuanian nobility, which ruled and defended the state, was formed more than 600 years ago. It was unified under the umbrella of various nobility organizations during the centuries. The most recent organization, The Lithuanian Nobility Society (LBD) operated during the period of 1928-1940; however, its activities were terminated by the occupation of Lithuania by the Soviet Union. The Royal Union of Lithuanian Nobility, formed on the basis of LBD statutes, is a full-fledged and legitimate successor of LBD.
